Our programs can be tailored for any age group and any indoor or outdoor setting, and are complementary with lessons on conservation, ecology and natural history, food webs, predator / prey relationships, senses (sight and hearing especially), flight, evolutionary adaptations, local wildlife, and more.

Our programs also address key curriculum standards in Pennsylvania, including the following:

Keystone standards (in effect until 6/30/2025):
  • BIO.B.4.1.1 Describe the levels of ecological organization (i.e., organism, population, community, ecosystem, biome, and biosphere).
  • BIO.B.4.2.2 Describe biotic interactions in an ecosystem (e.g., competition, predation, symbiosis).
Common Core Connection:
  • Interdependent Relationships in Ecosystems: Animals, Plants and Their Environment
The STEELS standards (effective 7/1/2025):
  • 4th grade Life Science: 3.1.4.B  Use a model to describe that animals receive different types of information through their senses, process the information in their brain, and respond to the information in different ways.
  • 6th – 8th Life Science: 3.1.6-8.K Develop a model to describe the cycling of matter and flow of energy among living and nonliving parts of an ecosystem.
  • 9th – 12th Life Science: 3.1.9-12.M Evaluate the claims, evidence, and reasoning that the complex interactions in ecosystems maintain relatively consistent numbers and types of organisms in stable conditions, but changing conditions may result in a new ecosystem.
  • 9th – 12th Earth and Space: 3.4.9-12.E Plan and conduct an investigation utilizing environmental data about a local environmental issue.

Pricing varies depending on the class size, location of your school, and how many programs you would like to schedule on the same day. Please include these details - particularly the location, how many programs you would like to book, and the size of each class or classes - with your booking inquiry. Events over 10 miles from the Cobbs Creek neighborhood of Philadelphia incur an additional fee for travel time.
